I am in Sydney, but my site is hosted by GoDaddy in the US.

I have set the server as being Sydney time, expecting that would display data for Australian days. But the counter seems to changing late in the afternoon here.

How do I change this?

Hi,

yes, the timezones are little bit 'difficult'.

PHP and Database use the system time. Are both at same machine ?

Can you check the Database time with following SQL Statement: SELECT NOW();

And what time shows the Statistic-Image Tooltip ?

And are the other ToolTips at the "TODAY", "YESTERDAY", "WEEK" and so on.. fields correct ?

Greetings
Micha

The image tooltip says 13.22, when it's 06.22 here. So it's giving west coast US time, where the server is.

What do I need to change - and how? I need to add 18 hours to the time

Hi,

i forgot:
have you deleted the statistic image from tmp folder and refresh the website ? The the default recompute time for that image is 6 hours ( Parameter "Time Elapse" ) ( or have you already set a very small value for that parameter ? )

It can be that PHP Timezone differs from Server Timezone. This is configured in file php.ini.

I'm not sure whether this has an impact, but you can also check Joomlas timezone setting ( Settings-Server ).

At my server it looks like good, but...

Greetings
Micha
